DOES THIS SEEM UPSIDE DOWN TO YOU? LARGER HOMES ARE ALLOWED IN ZONES CLOSER TO TOWN WITH THE SMALLEST SETBACKS. No wonder most of the complaints about homes appearing out of scale are from the R-6 to R-20 zones.
There has been no analysis presented by the P&Z of what size property a particular lot size can support. If a one acre lot in the R20 Zone can support a 9,801 square foot house why is the same one acre lot in the R4 Zone only allowed 3,131 square feet? When the setbacks in the R4 zone are much larger, so the home would be built much further from the street and any neighbors?
